dsms detail - Brilliant Black Audi S5 Correction - SUPER WET!

Wow! Now that is how black is supposed to look, awesome job man!!! Can I ask about that long shank on that buffer in the first buffing pic? That looks intriguing, seems like it would help in some tighter areas like a recessed license plate area or something. Is that something custom or can you buy that somewhere?

Dude, that's tight... and I'm not talking about your a$$ :). Nice work, buddy! Does that elongated backing plate/neck? get a bit wobbly when polishing, at times?

WOW Hands Down Best Black paint I've ever seen. Looks "Supoib" wow ya and I don't comment much. Thanks for sharing bud!

P.S. What polish did you Jewel with Dave?

I'm a 2010 S5 owner myself and am amazed at how bad this guy's paint was considering it's not even a year old yet. That was an amazing turnaround Dave...awesome work as usual!

No surprise here and actually the owner has only washed it twice using gentle soap etc.

The marring was dealer prep work done incorrectly luckily the owner got it all sorted it while the car was still brand new and now its well protected. He is all set up with 2 buckets and grit guards etc. to do regular gentle washes ;)

Oh ok, I totally forgot about the dealer..I didn't let my dealer do any "prep" work on mine so it didn't look like that when I got mine.

Very nice work David!

IMO a true deep gloss comes from leveling the paint down first and using proper polishing steps along the way.

What extension are you using on your makita with the yellow 4' pad on the rear deck lid???

I'm looking for one but cant find one....
