2010 S5 in Brilliant Black in for a 2 day full correction.

Wheels before

After cleaned with Opt. powerclean

DSC_0884.jpg

Washed with CG citrus, clayed with riccardo etc.

After the prep and IPA wipedown shown with Fenix TK40. The paint on this car is an annoying combo, hard to correct yet very easily marred. 2 step correction carried out with the rotary and various pads and polishes. Jeweling process took about 4hrs alone, worked from 1500rpm down to about 900 with slow passes to create and even gloss without any leftover trails or haze.

Very nice looking car!! the jeweling on that car just sets it all off! Another amazing job

Finally someone who understands your LSP accounts for very little of that final finish and all the prep (especially polishing) makes all the difference.

:up

very true about the polishing.. in fact dave when i saw ur car at the meet and greet. you could have told me it had an 8000 wax on it and id believe you.. the paintwork was super glossy!!!! nice warm deep shine ... nice job

Looks great!!!

Could you tell me what tools you used on the wheels and exhaust tips? I usually use p21S gel on my wheels and and an ace powerstick to reach behind the spokes. For the exshaust tips usually some Adams APC and the powerstick and/or boars hair brush. Just looking to see what you were using for tools and cleaners.

Also, looking for a really good LSP for my 2010 Meteor Grey, just got it four weeks ago, so going to give it a clay/polish/wax and was wondering which LSP you used? That black does look wet!

Really impressed with what a great job you did!

Meh.............................. typical "J" tightness, what's the big deal:nixweiss of course I am kidding, now make your A5 look like that.......oh wait it does.

The car looks great! Well done!

The tree, grass, and other items in the photo look "off" are your camera setting "off"?

Cheers,

GREG
