dsms detail - Black Porsche Turbo from Canada *Major Overhaul*

Fantastic work. Those Fikse FM5's are my faves.

Its funny because so many people have commented on this detail saying the wheels ruin the car, yet Fikse's on porsches for me always look perfect, FM5's being no exception as they just set the car off very nicely.

... I guess some chrome 24's would be better suited huh :hifive:

Chrome 24's?

Why not spinners?!:doh

I agree, though -- I happen to like the looks of the Fikse's on the Porsche.

That is definitely one of the best turnarounds I've ever seen!!! :chuckle:

Major overhaul is right!

Soft black finicky paint, swirls, scratches, holograms, its got it all... :woohoo:

Seriously great work, Dave!! The car looks insane!! :2thumbs:

Thanks Rick. Nailed it on the head with the issues, paint was a pain for sure but well worth the hours.

Doing another porsche now, luckily only fine marks on a light colored metallic (yacting blue) ... its nice not to have to do open heart surgery on every car!

The "difference in clarity" shot says it all. I love the 50/50's as much as anyone - but the difference in clarity without intense light is HUGE which shows how great the paint was coming along.

I need to get more info on that light as well. 630 lumens! Geeze - enough to light up a residential block at night.

Love the pics (even having to contour around to get those lower shots), love the work, and love to see a dedicated client who plans on taking much better care of their beautiful car. Great job!

Thanks Marc, means a lot coming from someone who knows what paint correction is all about!
