So I had an 'emergency' appointment today to buff some scratches out of a M-B ML55 AMG. The client shows up and its this cute, tiny, college girl with "mom's" car. She had accidentally opened the back door in the garage and scraped it up. I know I have detailed this car before (her dad actually referred her to me) and I was told to make it so "mom doesn't notice it when she gets home in two hours".
She paid me with a fresh hundo and was more happy that she wasn't going to get yelled at by her mother anymore. I'll probably never tell the mother next time she comes in for a detail, but I wonder how long until she notices (there were some small scratches into the primer).
Mostly just posting this for amusement. Any other detailers out there have some interesting client stories?
