Dr. color chip?

A client of mine just called me up and told me about this and was wondering if it was something I was using. Well of course this is yet another thing I've never heard of but it seems to be a neat product for lots of road rashed front ends. (My dad's RAM would benifit greatly from this sort of thing) Anyone out there heard of or use this before? Any good? If not anything else in the market a better recommendation?

Thanks

I tried TouchUp123 which is very similar.

I'm happy with it. It does not do much for very minor scratches or spiderwebbing kind of stuff, but for the rest of the road rash/gouges it did very well. From a few feet away the before and after is night/day imo.

Here are my pics:

Jake, someone here did a comprehensive write-up + fotos on a red Z4...maybe within the past year. The result was amazing. Far better than I would ever expect.

I have used it and it does work pretty nicely, especially on heavy roadrash cars. It's actually a MUST have for road rash jobs.

It's so easy to do, a 2 year old can do it.

If you can snap a couple before and after pics that would be awesome. Would like to hear and see what you think about the process and results.

I have used this product very successfully on road rash and small nicks with great results. This is a truly amazing product. It will restore a hood with road rash perfectly.

One caviat: on a plastic bumper that was 'repaired' by one of those mobile bumper repair specialists, the Dr. Color Chip would not hold. It came right off after the wipe down. These bumper repair guys must be using some additive in the paint that prevents the Dr. Color Chip stuff to stick to it.

Other than that I swear by this miracle product. The before and after pictures on their website are for real.

Its so easy to apply, My ten-year old can do it,

never tried it.. i dab touch up paint on using a toothpick, never touched up" on a customers car though.. as for road rash, never tried to repair it. turtle wax ice hides it VERY well, although its a pretty temporary fix.. sorry to get off topic.

I bought it for a SS red hood on my Daily driver. It works well, blends nicely and a perfect paint match. Large scratches can be minimized, but the product really excels in small chips.

I've used a similar product in the past. It's a good add on / service to have for a business for sure.
