DETAILED TODAY?
Well,
After todays wash, i would say its about 90% gone. ( I have read short term protection issues). Just being honest here. But PA winters are BRUTAL. I noticed poor sheeting/beading. Out of all their coatings i have used, this one fell a little short. The wheel/glass coatings are amazing! Not a bad product. 6 months of solid protection. And my first coating. For my money i still love PRIMA. HYDRO MAX and WAX AS U DRY are a 1-2 knockout. MAX for the protection, WAUD to maintain. DONE. In fact i finished todays detail with HYDRO MAX.
 
I agree with your thoughts on Hydro Max. Stuff is amazing and so easy to use. I just used it today when I did a rinseless on my Dodge Ram.

What durability do you see out of Hydro Max?
 
I have always had 3-6 months of durability. Thats the beauty of it. As easy to use as a QD, but durability of a sealant.
 
I have easily gotten 4 months out of Hydro Max. Just replied this weekend and should last me through the rest of the weekend.

Normal CG MAXI SUDS II. Is what it is. 6 months was not god awful. But a long way from the claimed up to 2 years. For the ease and duribility, i am back to hydro max. For the paint that is. DP wheel/glass coatings i have nothing but good things to say about the two.


Would the RESET soap made a diff? Dont know. And the BOOSTERS are as much as some of the coatings!

I'm on close to a year, and it hasn't been washed in months. But still looks good, and the rain cleans it.

I do think that reset may have brought it back, or the dp coating soap
 
It may still have been intact. Just less beading/sheeting? DP does not make a coating soap. Car pro & pinnacle are the only two i know.

That's why I've stuck with sealants up to this point. I'm afraid to "screw it up". DP does sound pretty idiot proof which would work for me!
