DP MAX WAX over PRIMA HYDRO

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
just curious. would a coat of DP MAX WAX interfer in any way with the PRIMA HYDRO MAX i already have on?

i dont want to kill the hydro.

I have almost always topped a sealant with a wax.

SO

IMHO - This shouldn't be a problem at all, unless Hydro is wimpy or the wax is super high in solvents. (neither of which I think is the case)

So have at it. :)

As always, pics are required

I have used MaxWax over Hydro Seal and Epic. It always enhances the look and produces very tight beads. I've also topped MaxWax with Hydro to refresh the shine.

MaxWax sheet rinses extremely fast on clean, well prepared paint.

MaxWax contains polymers and carnauba wax, which I believe makes it compatible with just about any sealant. It does mention a mineral spirit, but it's probably just enough to keep the wax soft and spreadable.

Try a panel.

I've used Maxwax on top of Prima Hydro Max. I let the PHM cure for 12 hrs. (maybe not necessary). Worked great.

I also use PHM to top up other waxes and sealants...just to add a little gloss and slickness. Not concerned much about durabilty.
