Car donated by neighbor. Hey, I get bored when I have a day off.

Cleaned with Spray n wipe + glide w/red nanoskin clay sponge


One pass on half of drivers side

Scrubbed pad with a dental brush and did a 2nd pass same area

Not as bad

Finished up with two passes as well.

3 passes on a brand new pad, not satisfactory but a good improvement

Even this product has its limits but overall its a joy to work with

Tried an experiment, finished with essence on a yellow pad and topped an hour later with exp.

I recommend this product to anyone looking for a quick way to restore mild to moderately damaged headlights to new condition. Extremely faded lights may require more aggressive methods (sanding) prior to using this.

Thanks. I've never tried sanding lights but probably should have a sanding block or something to use in cases like these...not sure what grit though

Great tip about using a stiff bristled brush to clean your pad on the fly! I use my pad cleaning brush for the exact same purpose and wanted to make sure and highlight this nice tip for others to see. Excellent results again, 512.

So I imagine a coating is nessary after this step

I think the aio comes from sanding/compund/polish. The kit comes with a spray sealant protectant.

Not sure. I've seen others post 6months with one coat of the sealant.
About a year was mentioned earlier but I don't know if it's garaged, etc.
I'd say every few (3-4)months reapply and you'd be safe for sure.

Good question - with the machine turned off use a stiff bristle brush (like the white one 512detail shows in his first pick or a foam pad conditioning brush) to help lift up the matted fibers and remove spend product and residue.

For cleaning, I'll spray the pads with OPC 3:1, work it in, and rinse. Thin wool pads are super easy to clean.

yep just like Angus said. there is a dollar tree close to my house and it comes in handy for these $1 brushes

I just brush them in a counter clockwise motion (against the way they spin when being operated) and it fluffs the pad back up..reapply AIO headlight polish and repeat.

and just in case, I have four of these little thin foamed wool pads. I use one per headlight. I end up cleaning the pad twice if not three times during each headlight and just use a fresh (clean) one for the 2nd headlight
