Hey guys, got my first job tomorrow, a black Land Rover. Heres my game plan:

Exterior:

1- Tires/Rims

2- Wash & Dry

3- Clay (megs)

4- AIO

5- SG

6- Dress Tires

Interior:

1) Vacuum Carpets

2) Z9 wipe down on interior

4) Wait 15 minutes for Z9 to dry, apply Z10 where needed

5) Apply Resolve Spot Remover on carpet if needed

Any recommendations before I start? What are you guys' experience with Land Rovers/Range Rovers and the sports versions? What should I be careful about, or avoid?

Thanks guys!

Don't use alot of water. Electrical repairs can be real costly. Be careful on the wood grain - it could scratch easy. Unless the paint is brand new, the paint might need stronger products. Good choice for claying it, but the paint on Rovers is soft and prone to swirls. No offense but, it kinda looks like your going to do a glorified car wash and not a complete detail. Is the truck really clean? Alot of luxury vehicle owners love leather conditioner -add that if you can. Good Luck - Post Pics.

I have z9 and z10 for the leather.

What electrical components could get damaged in a car wash? Do you mean on the interior?

Spray your cleaner on your towel and wipe the interior down instead of spraying it directly on the suraface like most would normally do. It can avoid problems. Also, don't power wash the door jambs, just clean them by hand.

Do you have an air compressor as well? For interior between the seams of all the seats and nooks and cracks and what not I use an air gun and it takes out little dust particles and what not very easily! Love it!

if u do be sure not to spray any electronics with the air hose as it can force moisture inside of certain electronic devices and cause some expensive malfunctioning
