Does UPGP Work?

Love the DWG and UPGP combo on silver metallic. One good topper I've found over the finished layers is DG AW. Awesome is all I can say. Sorry no pics but the crystal clear reflections is something to behold! I like it even better than the various QD's I have tried (and I do love me some QD).

It appears topping with a clear light spray sealant type product works best over light colors as the nuba tends to mute the flakes to me.

Just my 2 cents.

P21s100% is one of my fav nubas as it makes the flakes pop like crazy, unlike many other nubas that can mute them. Then, hit your car with some FK 425 after the P21s100% and the flakes will just explode.

That's good to know Doc. I have several waxes but hate fact they are such dust magnets...

Doesn't surprise me. I have yet to find a car that i wasn't impressed with the results AW gave me. Doesn't matter what i used it over, it's my go to LSP refresher. really makes flakes pop on my silver car too. This weekend the car is getting a good polishing, DWG, AJT and a shot of AW after 24 hours. Pics will be up.

Next time around maybe i'll open up my wallet for UPGP, but i just got so much stuff it was already hurting.

Try Fk 425, it will significantly reduce the dust magnet problem since it has excellent anti-static property. I never use a nuba without it.

I took this advice from Detail Doc, and am *very* glad I did. :up

Rob, I've used OS for sometime, but it doesn't come close to UPGP as far as looks. It might win in the durability dept, but like I said, durability means nothing to me.

Well, it took me over a year, but I finally tried UPGP.

While I am still not ready to say that OS "doesn't come close" to the looks of UPGP, I will say that yes, the the looks of UPGP do appear to be better, to me, than OS...at least on the yellow (non clear coat) paint that I tried it on.

The ease of use of UPGP is quite a bit better than OS too. I didn't have to follow up by wiping down the "high spots" like I do with OS.

Two coats of UPGP looks fantastic thus far.
