guy, i have recently bought rmg and im wondering if it would affect the bonding with zaino? All my knowledge points to that it would affect it but... i think it is a question worth asking.

thanks guys.

your are correct Zaino will not bond to an oilly glaze like RMG

you would use an acrylic glaze like DWG for Zaino

What Jim said. :2thumbs: DWG rocks, too. It doesn't appear to do alot of defect hiding, though.

Hello!

I have tried CG EZ GLAZE under Zaino for testing. Personally straight up Zaino had better colour likeness and better metalic pop.

DARNET! I was about to buy DWG instead of RMG... i guess i shouldve. Think danase would send me a sample? Now im thinking about shelling out the 20$ for it... Ive bought so much product in the past month.

Can i use p21s? zymol titanium?... i guess only carnoubas would work?

some sealants will work with RMG

I know EX-P works well and I am sure there are more

yes it works great with any Nuba

I kindof doubt DWG could improve on Zaino much, but I guess it's possible. Z8 would probably be a better investment for wetness...

If you are set on trying DWG then IMO CS would be the better topper. Top that with Z8 and I think you are looking at perfection.

So you think polish to perfection (after all 90% is in the prep) then z5, then cs, then z8?

It sounds good and dandy but thats not going to make up for a glaze (am i correct). I have never used a glaze so i wouldnt know however.

Can I apply 2 coats of RMG, would it make any difference?

You might get a bit more filling/defect hiding out of it. It wouldn't hurt to do more than one application of RMG as long as you did it before your LSP.

I was *very* impressed by DWG. Haven't used it long enough to know if it affects durability, though. I really don't think you'd be disappointed by using it under the Zaino. It's only gonna add about 15 minutes to your detail time.
