I would never judge a LSP based on pictures!

Cleaning Fool said:Yeah, maybe so. However, when I look at Souveran on black or red (even in a pic) something strikes me sooner or later about the look. When I see pics of Zaino, something strikes me sooner or later. I guess I haven't been struck yet with this wax

I hear some discussion in the UK about a less expensive 250 ml container of Supernatural (without the fancy wooden pot). When can we get one in the colonies?

Now, IMO, those pictures look as good as any on the internet regarding cars. However, there are a couple things that we have to take into consideration.
1) Prep work is 95% of the battle. Unless the wax is heavy in fillers (and can give the appearance of re-leveling the paint), the foundation has to be perfect.
2) Pictures lie. I can multiple pictures of the same compensition in the same light, and by alterating different settings and can change the look from shot to shot. I can focus on the reflections, sharpening them, or focus on the surface of the paint and blur the relfections.
3) Depth is 100% impossible to see on a photograph. Depth is the sensory that we have when the images our eyes see are more different (object is closer) or similar eye to eye (further away). A photograph or computer screen is 1 dimensional, that is the image is similar eye to eye and we cannot view the depth of the reflection. Depth requires that the eyes precieve them differently, and you cannot do that in a picture.
This is why carnauba waxes are impossible to tell apart (as are most LSP's) in picture. The photographers skill and compesition is way more important then the LSP. Most people who have tried Super Natural have compared it's depth equal to Vintage.

If you look at the 3 posts i made, you can clearly tell the difference between the first 2 posts where the product is in excellent condition, leaving a wet look deep finish.
Contrast that with the final post where you can see the product has seriously deminished and you are left with just polished, mostly reflective or flat surface. With no wet look and little gloss.
You can see the product at its best in the first 2 and at weakest in the last?
I do agree with when people say you cannot judge a car on just photos alone. TH0001's work is some of the best posted on the internet and his photograhpy is excellent too. But when you get pictures that show such a clear contrast between the product in stages you can, alteast IMO see when a product is adding to the paintwork or not.
I think of all the negative stuff i have said about some of the DoDo Juice products, Supernatural deserves credit as it has performed out standingly and shown itself to add to well polished surface.
Even if you wanted to look up other Lancer/Evo photos on here, for which there have been many posted in the same colour as mine. I think you can tell the Supernatural waxed ones have so much more depth, gloss and emotion to colour.
Just my thoughts, no doubt controversal!
