Dodge Nitro featuring Migliore Primo

This Nitro was in for a good cleaning. My girlfriend picked it up in the winter and while in decent shape to the average eye, it had a ton of light horizontal swirls which seem to have come from the tunnel wash. My goal was around 75% correction, with a simple one step polish.

Products used:

Migliore Citro Shampoo

Migliore Naturale Shampoo

Meguiar's new DA polish w/ microfiber pads (tested, wasn't impressed)

Optimum Compound via Orange LC 6.5" pad

Dodo Juice Clay Lube

Rain-X

Migliore Wheel Seal

Migliore Bella Lustra Tire Glaze

Migliore Primo

Equipment:

Foam Cannon

PC

EZ Detail Brush

Lambswool wash mitt

Overall - you can see the light swirls. The Nitro was just lacking life:

I foamed with Citro, let dwell and rinsed. Then foamed with Naturale to wash:

Clayed 50/50. Left clayed.

I tested the new Meguiar's DA polish system with Microfiber pads. I wasn't happy with the results, although to be fair I was using the products in direct sun when they prefer shade. I switched out to the old trusted Optimum Polish / Compound pair.

i hope you will accept a little critic by understanding im not trying to be a troll, but that i just want to be honest and possibly help:

the picture before the last is poking my eye. the sun reflection on the fender reveals a bit of imperfections. also does the first pic from "the finals".

dont get me wrong, the improvement is just amazing, it wasnt just a black car with swirls, it was a buch of metal under a whole army of swirls! paint imperfections with a car under them!

it just seems a few years younger, if not brand new. but those details could have been avoided, imho, by doing all that hard work in the shade or in the garage. so id say its 95/100. id say you should have finished it with at least a glaze or a finishing product that would take care of those microscopical lines that show on a black car like this one.

btw the shot in front of the opened garage is the best. i love it. great job!

Thanks all for the kind words!

Not a problem, appreciate it! I am always open to a bit of critiquing. Do remember though, I wasn't aiming for perfection, only for around 75% correction. I believe what you're seeing are the oils from the polish/wax, which would have indeed been prevented if it was inside.

There was a motorcycle in garage, so I couldn't pull all the way in. Not mine, so I didn't want to move it.
