do you wear your mitts?

I use the Meguiars mit too, it feels more 'natural' for me to have my hand inside it, rather than using like like a sponge.

I have tried not wearing it and its easy to drop IMO.

Using wash pads for so many years can get used to using the mitt as a mitt. Using it like a wash pad still!

I personally wear my mitts, I cant see why you would buy a mitt only to use it as a sponge?!? If there is a market for it, why dont manufacturers create a sheepskin faced sponge?*

*I reserve the right to claim royalties if I see one :p

Costco use to sell them with their 3 pack of mitts. You got one with a thumb, one sheepskin wash pad, and one with a bug scrubber backing on one side.

I personally wear my mitts.

I don't wear mine. I try to fill a bunch of soapy water in the mitt and then pinch the hand hole closed and glide the mitt across the surface of the paint so that soapy water is leaking through the mitt onto the paint to help lubricate and wash/flush any contaminats away. After I have done a panel or part of a panel the mitt goes into the rinse bucket to bloom.

I don't wear them. I either use my mitt-balloon method with the foamgun or fill them with wash solution and hold the cuff shut while it seeps out.

If I wear the mitt it puts a lot more pressure on the paint (actually, on the *dirt that is on the paint*) than I like to do.

Has anybody used the big woolly mitt? I believe I bought it at the Autopia store and its big and woolly. I don't think its natural but I'm not sure. I sure do like using it. I can just glide it across the paint barely touching and it seems to work better than my other mitts. Does anybody know where you can still buy these?

Thanks, Wes
