Do you smell everything?

My friend was over last night when I got my p21s shipment. What was the first thing I did? Opened up the lotion and wax and smelled it! He was wondering what the heck I was doing. Then today my Pooboy's EX comes and what do I do? Tear open the box, open the top, and smell it. Why do I do this?:nixweiss
 
LOL I sniff everything. I want to find the next Souveran I guess. Still haven't found anything that smells better than the pinnacle products. I actually have to say that I was disapointed that Zymol Vintage smelled like crayons. I was expecting something a little more from a $1500 product. Smell may not be everything but it helps.
 
Funny you should bring this up, I dont know why, but I smell everything. First thing I do when something comes is open it up and sniff, its odd!

I do smell everything and give my friends to smell as-well. I love the smell of Megs FI #34, Platinum UPP and Poorboys EX. On the other end, some 1Z polishes smell terrible.



I think US companies add pleasant scents to their products trying to increase their sells, while others as Europeans don't and usually smell nasty (Klasse products?)
 
I smell most products. I think its just a reaction. We don't even know we are doing it. Ever smell AutoInt.com "Valugard" products?? Just finished a 4 hour session with their polishes (Heavy Duty Cutting Compound, Clear Coat Compound, Machine Polish, Preconditoner Cleaner) and some Carnauba Cream Wax all done by hand. I got a slight buzz going.....along with some sore arms and back......

I am guilty too!!! I have no idea why I like to smell the products, but I do!! My wife always says" here you go again, sniffing the waxes!!":xyxthumbs
 
Isnt this just a natural evolutionary thing for humans to do?

In fact I bring my friends and family in the basement just to smell the products.



I still think the cheap blue Zymol car wash soap and Wheel Wax smell the best. I also like 3M Perfect-It Paste Wax.



303 smells like stank a$$ sweaty socks.
 
:LOLOL Heck yes! It's funny you mention this - I've recieved some new stuff lately and SNIFFED THEM ALL! :D



Unfortunately both the $1.25 sealant (hey, why not?) and the Moose Wax almost sent me swaying to the pavement! LOL



I'm with Spilchy - the "cheap" Zymol Auto Wash smells awesome. As does the Mothers Trigger Wash, and my banana-scented carnauba stuff. If S100 had a nice smell like Pinnacle stuff I'd probably put it up on an altar surrounded by candles or something :D



If any of you find me passed out in the detailing aisle one day, you'll know why! :wavey
 
I can tell the difference between Meguiars Swirl Free, DACP and #26 just by the smell...and don't get me started on Vanilla Moose...it smells like a rich vanilla shake!
