Do you have to wait to top SG with p21s?

Usually you should wait about 24 hours before applying another coat of any additional product. From what I have read, SG needs this time to cure. Will Rodgers once said, "the only thing I know is what I read in the newspapers". Well, what I know is what I read on Autopia!

I've always waited but what happens if you don't wait? Reduced durability?

If you were to top SG right away you wouldn't give it a chance to cure properly. I think the biggest problem you could have is reduced durability. You might also have bonding issues or it might look great. Top one half of your hood right away and wait 24 hours for the other half and report back to us.
