Do you guys?

Im with tinhead. Found Autopia thru ls1tech.com and have spent 90% of my detailing forum time here. Ive always liked the atmosphere here better than the other sites.

autopia is the best car care forum i have ever visited. i've learned so much here and everyone is so helpful to lookout for one another. not to mention..... there are alot of genuinely nice people on here. :thx

this really moved me as well....

The Autopia-Carcom store is owned and operated by The Perfect Shine, LLC, a California Limited Liability Corporation, in partnership with Autopia.org. The Perfect Shine is responsible for providing all products and services related with this website.

It's all about you and your car... and the underserved! In 2003 we moved our warehouse to ARC of San Diego (ARC), a quality-of-life center for adults with handicaps.

Having ARC provide our inventory, bottling, kit building, picking, packing and shipping services is a dream-come-true for the ARC workforce and us.

Each task, be it the simple application of a label or filling a complex order, is a worthy accomplishment for the ARC employee. The work boosts their pride and enhances their quality of life.

Our involvement with ARC is daily and intense. The investment we make in custom systems to support the underserved workforce are paying off with huge smiles and warm hellos every time we enter the facility.

When you remove the shrink wrap from your Autopia Car Care products, you'll know it was lovingly applied by someone who cares that you receive your product in perfect condition.

Care.

Because Autopia is just better. lol Same reasons for me as everyone else. I found autopia through Camaroz28.com, I think... its been so long.

I've never even visited another detailing forum. I came here from Miata.net (another civil forum) and see no reason to go elsewhere. I can ask about what to use on my car, and get a dozen different ideas without someone pushing their favorite product down my throat. I like that.

I don't have to ask many questions if I search the forums a little. If I do ask a question, I know I won't have some heckler giving me a hard time. Just good suggestions from good people. That's why I don't go anywhere else.

I found DetailCity first, but then learned about Autopia. It seems that this forum has more active discussion, less bias, and more information. I still visit DC once in a while, but don't post much. As far as Detailer's Club, I find the whole idea amusing, that a bunch of weenies that got banned from here had to go form their own forum. :lol

Actually Brad (formerly showroom lincoln) had a big role in forming detailer's club. He was a moderator here at autopia and helped build a lot of the structure you see here today. He was not banned, but resigned and left the forum for reasons of his own.

OK, but when I think of Detailer's Club, I think of the several members that had "Banned from Autopia" as their avatar text, as if they were proud of it or something.

I found this site through a yahoo search. I read for about 6 months before joining. I identify with it more than the other forums. It's more of a melting pot than some...less than objective...forums. And this isn't limited to detail forums--detail subforums on certain boards can be a great place for biased information due to "forum sponsors" and unknowing members. Sigh.

I lurk at DC

I rarely lurk at MOL

I lurk at bettercarcare

I'm at home here and thanks to all for making it a great place to be. :woot2: :2thumbs:

I'd never even bother registering there. They hated me enough when they were here-definitely product related!

I used to lurk at Detailers Club but it just didn't seem that the red carpet was rolled out for some of us from here. Even though I found a lot of the postings from many of the members there to be informative when they posted here, I didn't really care for their online personalities. I don't really care for iTough Guys.;)

I used to post over at DC but was treated like a child by the owner and I have a dad already so.....

I still post at MOL but spend the majority of my time here where a few of you hate me.:)

It depend sometime I post pic's here and I dont post on other forum vice versa.

I know some ppls does it both side. Yeah I dig 'Topia, it was my 1st site of love :chuckle:
