Do you guys find that the yellow pads leave swirls?

*I* like the white better than the yellow...I saw some very minor marks appear after using the yellow but that was on my black car too though....but if you are using IP with yellow maybe just follow up with white pad and FP(assuming that is whay you'll use)
 
I get good results from Poorboys foam pads and I love the "knob" on the Viking foam applicator. I'm clumsy and drop the others frequently whereas the Viking blue applicator with the "knob" handle is almost hard to drop.
 
Generally, plan to use the white pads for the last polishing steps.



They might or might not be aggressive enough to remove marring, but they'll remove MICROmarring from more aggressive products and pads.



While some people get a ready-to-wax finish from yellow and orange pads, it's not something you can always count on. Plenty of us even finish up with a VERY mild product on a FINISHING pad. The more "milder, then milder still" steps, the finer your finish will be.
