Do not use Mobile 1 in Atlanta

Scottwax - Therein lies the problem, before they touched the car there was only one quarter panel that needed buffing. The rest of the vehicle had very few swirls and would need only a light polish. All in all the car was in better condition before they did the work.

Even with very few swirls they could of done a 1 step polish with something light and still yielded great results without ruining the rest of the car. $250 for a polish job on exterior by an autopia type detailer is rather cheap too.

Could this really be the same car?

No LSP yet in the full car pic.

:woohoo:

Great meeting you today Mike and it was 100% my pleasure to get your IS350 back to a respectable finish.

Hello all! I just wanted to post up a warning about an Atlanta area detailer that left serious swirl marks all over my vehicle. So if you are looking for a detail do not trust Mobile 1 Detailing, or Colyn, Justin, and Jason.

Is this the same Justin that was banned for shilling? Yellow truck?

Mikey, have you thought about reporting this business to your local BBB? Another thing that you could do is leave a review of your experience on Yahoo, Google and Yelp. I'm sure that by doing so you could save someone else from the same terrible experience that you went through.

Bigleegr: What is shilling?

RustyBumper: I have already reported them to the BBB, posted my reviews on a number of merchant review sites, contacted the local TV stations, and hit up my other auto forums to spread the word. Unfortunately even if my efforts to expose their shoddy work reached a global scale I fear they would just change their name and continue defrauding people.

Keep checking back as I will update this with any new news!

You can't go wrong with Bryan. He does quality work from all I've seen. He's a swell guy to speak with as well.

Acting like you are not affiliated with or gettting any payment from a company/product line but promoting it hard, like "I don't typically use Product X but I was given a sample to try. Wow! It's amazing! I'm going to use it exclusively! I hear you can get it from Company X."

But I guess it's not the same guy, as gmblack3a answered.
