Do I need to apply a finishing polish?

I plan on trying out the Poorboys line of swirl removers (1.2 and 2.5) for my next detail which will be a black car. Will I need to follow up with a finishing polish? When I used the 3M PI2 on my last detail, I got the normal hazing in the finish. I am assuming I will encounter the same thing with this detail also, correct?



If I do need to follow up with a final polish, I currently have 3M finishing material and Menzerna Final Polish II. Which one would be better to use? Or, should I go with the Poorboys polish?
 
Nah, in my experience, with a cutting pad, SSR2.5 usually buffs out to a useable finish. If not, SSR 2 or 1 will be plenty to finish, as I would classify them as finishing polishes personally.
