DJ Mayo and Greg Gellas attack a ZR1!!!

Greg Gellas

I'm Greg :)
I met up with DJ down in Maryland to correct the paint on a ZR1. The owner enjoyed wiping his car with quick detailer to get dust and debris off of the surface before he took it out for a spin. Of course it was a black car. There were some clear indications of his cleaning. Straight scratch lines that had formed from the wiping, and swirling through the paint was clear. There were also some deeper scratches throughout the paint. The car was very clean, just lots of scratches and swirls.

We started with a wash with 50/50 wash of dawn and CG Citrus wash and clear. Then pulled it in for inspection to see exactly what we had on our hands.

Thanks for viewing our work :D

Fantastic work Greg! You and DJ killed it, that car looks unbelievable now. Those after shots look unreal.

It's sad to see how an owner of such a gorgeous legend takes such poor care of it. I'm glad to see how you restored it to it's rightful showplace look....:yourrock
