Disgusting '99 Jeep

Nice recovery on the inside.....looks like some of the vehicles I've worked on. Not fun.....especially in a hot garage in central Florida. I feel your pain.

As far as the trash....sack it up and give it to them......let them go through it.:xyxthumbs

That's exactly what I did. There was a guitar amp with two 12 inch speakers in it that took up the whole back of the jeep. Along with cables, microphones, all kinds of stuff

IF doing the interior I always tell my customers to take all their personal items out of the car before they drop it off, but they hardly ever do. So I throw it all in cardboard box and stick it in the trunk (minus the garbage). That car was a bit excessive though. I have feeling the inside will look that again in about 1 month.

I filled 3 trash bags with the items in the car, books, movies, microphones, and put them all in the corner of my garage. The guitar, I moved inside so it wouldn't get damaged because it looked real expensive. I saw the jeep again recently, the outside looked terrible, but the inside actually looked pretty good. Dirty floormats, and a few footprints on the dashboard, but there wasnt one piece of clutter inside of it. I just put a coat of duragloss 105 on it, it looks much better.

what did you do with the guitar in the back seat?

Scream bloody murder and smash it on the ground repeatedly, like any good rock star :getdown :chuckle:

Big turnaround on the interior thats for sure, but you only posted one exterior shot and it is on a rather harsh angle so it is hard to really see the condition of the paint.

Did the megs paint cleaner really handle all that? It looks to me like one could not correct that by hand, definitely something that would require some seriously intense PC work or a rotary.

The paint was terrible on it. Almost all the exterior shots looked terrible. you can see plenty of dents on it from the one shot i posted, but the hood was covered in permanent scratches that were all the way down to the metal. The inside was the main thing I worked on. I honestly think the outside was almost hopeless.
