Dings are driving me crazy (It is a short drive)

Yeah them Miata trunks are soft! Mine had all kinds of pimples (pushed from inside the trunk) on it because I (or the previous owner) would slam the trunk on crap.

The Miata trunks are super light so I could see how that could easily happen. My dings are on the rear side panel just to the right of the trunk. It isnt nearly as soft. Hopefully they will come out cheap.

You can try online trainings/courses instead of asking here in a forum,. I assure even if I post here a very detailed instructions on how to perform it, you won't be able to implement it successfully.

I realize that^ was an old thread bump, but I just recently had some PDR work done, and I picked the guy's brain as best I could given the situation. It was fascinating, truly! I had mentioned to him at one point I considered looking into a kit for DIY efforts, and he also mentioned that it takes a lot of repetitive work to get the hang of it. He uses these opaque/translucent mirrors (and lights) with a black stripe down the middle. I won't get anymore into that stuff, since it seems everyone agrees to hire a pro anyhow.



There is also that last 10%: The fine tuning art of matching the paint's orange peel, something that never occurred to me before.
