Ding, Dented, and distarught

my car was subjected to a very harsh curb collision which resulted in a new chrome rim, repaint of front bumper, and 1 less friend allowed 2 touch my car. So after the recommended 30 days I detailed my car like it had never been detailed before the whole wash, clay, swirl remove, polish, wax shebang. My car was the envy of any Alpine Silver GS in town for 2 days but today when I went to my parking lot I noticed someone had hit me denting my fender well $590 worth of damage and thats the low estimate. So my question is:



Will it be useless to completely detail my car again b4 I put it in the shop because I don't think I can wait 30 more days after this to wax her again
 
well you can detail the whole car except for the section that needs to be repainted. I would definately reccomend waxing the rest of the car at the least. Do the other stuff if you feel like it or if it needs it.
 
a good coat of wax could come in handy if they get over spray on stuff but i woundt wory to much about it its going to get dirty in the body shop
