Diluting products...

Up to now, I've diluted everything with destilled water... I'm wondering if it's ok to use tap water to cut down a few cleaners, etc... specifically Meg's APC+ and Hyperdressing

Thanks

I use tap water for everything. I have done so for 3 years with no ill effects.

I dilute cleaners like Meg's APC at degreasing strength with tap water.

Other things, like QDs, I use distilled water since I figured that using regular water could cause streaks if something happens to where I leave the product to dry by itself.

I use ONR as a clay lube/QD... and eventually my towel gets pretty wet while claying. I could switch the towel, sure - but it actually doesn't matter! Even if I still leave some on (like what happens when your towel is too wet and you can't dry completely), it actually just disappears. No streaks, no spots. Just disappears.

For APC's and Meg's Hyper I definitely use tap water.

I don't mix my own QD; but that would be the only thing I would use Distilled for.
