Digital Cameras

I'm currently using a Samsung Digimax A6. Not the greatest of all cameras, but it still takes great quality shots for the price.

What digital camera do you use for taking pictures of your cars?

I have a Canon A620. I like it but I think it is time for a dSLR.

If you have the money go with a Digital Rebel XT, they are pretty cheap with the rebates going on now. Just make sure you have some money for some decent lenses. The prices on L glass will make you look twice, thinking the comma is in the wrong place

I was thinking about a D70s or a Rebel XT.

Both seem like good choices, just a matter of preferences and options to make the choice. Anyone looking to get a dSLR I'd recommend either Canon or Nikon just because of a huge selection of lenses out there. Sure Olympus, Pentax and Konica Minolta have good dSLRs, but really can't compete with Canon or Nikon as far as selection of lenses, flashes, etc.

I use a Minolta DiMAGE Z6 and love it. Now that Minolta has sold their business to Sony the cameras are an especially good value.

I just ordered a Nikon D200. I saw one at work today and took a few pics, really nice. Ill have it by Friday.

Damn your title is no joke, "BALLER"...lol

The D200 is a very nice camera, I'm sure you'll enjoy. Just make sure to get some quality Nikon glass now, your pictures are only as good as the lens your using.

My wife does professional concert photography, so I get to steal her gear when I take pics (lucky me!). So I'm using a Canon 30D and a variety of lenses now (35-128IS, 50mm, 17-35, etc...)

We had a digital rebel before that, took over 50,000 pictures with it and were very happy with the results. I'd definitely recommend the XT.

Not any more....I used to ball....

I just cant tell my wife how much the camera cost. I have to tell her it was $400. That seems to be her threshold for my toy spending. She got on me for having too many microfiber towels (car rags as she calls them) this morining on the train. She asked if I was opening a garage.
