Differneces between the Flex and the GG

This may be a stupid question but I have been reading for a few weeks and cant find the differences between the GG and the flex.

I know the flex is forced rotation so it wont stop turning even with too much pressure which will cause burns and what not. Is there anything else? I just started with my car and my father in laws but am looking to get more practice and to do other peoples cars as well. Im assuming rotaries are quicker but not really sure.

If you have any saved threads I would be really grateful.

Thanks

Joe

Just read the sticky at the top again. The first page spoke of DA's so I though all had to do with DA's.

So some people are saying about 1/4 the time for rotary since the additional friction and ability to use larger pads

A rotary takes more skill, but corrects better/faster (if used correctly).... A random orbital such as the Griot's Garage 6" requires less skill... or should I say is much harder to mess up with, but potentially doesn't correct as well/fast.
