Differents Pads

Just bought a PC and was wondering about all the different pads...So far I have Orange Polishing Pads, and Gray Finishing Pads...Are there any other pads that I should have? Is there a specific pad I need if I want to use it for removing polish, wax and sealants? Can I use any pad and cover it with a Terry or MF bonnet and use that for removal?

You want to use a cutting pad for that becuase of how stiff they are.

if you want to use the machine to take off the wax/polish, you need to have a stiff pad with a bonnet over it...a soft pad will flex too much and it will be more trouble than its worth to remove the wax, and if you dont use the bonnet, then you are dry buffing with the cutting pad....NOT GOOD

Alot of people have success placing a MF bonnet over a wool pad for removing wax.

someone else had told me to use the softest pad I have...blue pad

I remove polish and wax by hand, much more thorough job, and for me at least, its faster....



plus its a nice feeling after you buff off all the polish/wax then go over it with the other side of the towel, how smooth it feels.... its a beautiful thing!
