Difference Between Klasse Twins and Liquid Glass??

Hey guys,



I was just wondering what the difference was between the Klasse twins and Liquid Glass?



Liquid Glass is sold at stores around here, but the Klass products arent, so just wondering which was better?

To my knowledge, liquid glass is one step product. It does have cleaners in it, making it unlayerable. I don't think durability is anything to get excited about either.



Klasse is two steps. AIO and SG. AIO is a cleaner, and SG is an acrylic sealant. SG can be layered over itself numerous times.



Those are really the high level basics. If you don't mind ordering online, get the klasse. If you do, just pick up some liquid glass.



Remember, prep is more important than any last step product you use.

Liquid Glass's key ingredient is a "crystal clear carbon", which dries rock hard. Klasse is an acryllic. Klasse SG can be tempermental to apply. I've never tried the LG, but I've also read that it can be applied in sunlight, something you would not try with Klasse.

Thatbeingsaid, I love my car, which is wearing 3 coats of Klasse SG, and now only has to have a weekly wash and occasional QD, for the next 6 months.

AIO and LG are pretty comparable but SG is different than these two. Both AIO and SG can be considered "old skool" sealants, using a high level of solvents to clean paint and to emulsify their polymer ingredients. Both have been around for decades and while they've been tweaked here and there, the same basic formulas are still used. I think AIO is the better cleaner/prep product while LG leaves a slicker, shinier finish. Durability between the two is comparable.



Probably one of the biggest differences is how the two products are marketed and distributed. I don't think retail marketing makes one product better than the other.
