Did-You-Know??

Late last night I was doing a search for detailing books and came across a recently (April 2005) published book called "Start Your Own Detailing Business" by Eileen Sandlin. I went out today and bought it because detailing is a passion to me and I would like to at least do it professionally, part-time after I get a rotary of my own. Anyways, I was reading the book tonight and came to a stopping point and turned to the appendix in the back and low and behold, there was DETAIL CITY's name and website listed in the book!! :punk: Jus tthought I would let you all know if you didn't know about it already. So far, 3 Chapters complete and it has a lot of useful information in it. Rock on DETAIL CITY :beer_smil :band:

That is pretty neat that Detail City got linked in the back. I don't know if I would want a hard copy of a detailing guide though. With how fast products change it is nicer to just read forums like these. It is like an ever changing book all of it's own that is always up to date on the best detailing techniques. I'm sure that info is good and would be a great resource to anyone starting out, but I'm glad they linked to ongoing information sites like Detail City so people can make sure products and processes are still good. Rock on Detail City indeed!

Its not about detailing echniques..more about operating the business, marketing strategies and producing income and profit. I only have a BS in Criminal Justice so this book is helping learn about running a business since the only business classes I took were in high school. Its funny how I absolutely hate reading, especially when I was in school but now that I am out of school, I haven't put this book down since I got it!
