Did someone forget that it was summer?

Go to www.weather.com and put in 84118 as the zip code. That's the weather in Salt Lake right now. 43 degrees with a wind chill that makes it feel like 35!! I thought it was June?? Am I mistaken? Did someone not get the memo about how summer started last weekend? Then why are ski resorts still open??? Snowbird is still open for business as of last weekend. I've heard of Spring Skiing before, but this is ridiculous. Where's the heat and the sun?? I woke up this morning to a hail storm that made me glad my car was in a garage and then drove to work in a torrential downpour. I think we have enough water now for awhile. Summer can come back anytime... Just in case mother nature reads Detail City I thought I would mention that. :rolleyes:
 
Well its scattered strong storms today and hot and humid. very uncomfy! I had to reschedule a full detail today so im not a happy camper, especially when my whole week is booked and it is supposed to rain the rest of the week. GRR.

That's the one nice thing about this kind of weather. Its only raining in the morning and by the afternoon its good for detailing. Nice and cool in my garage. :) I've still got 3 cars scheduled this week that aren't willing to back down because of the weather. They've been putting this off since March because of the weather and they are tired of the wait I guess. <sigh> I love my loyal customers... :) Its still just a little weird to see my breath when I go out on break, but that's ok. I'll get used to it. Apparantly this is just a sign of Hell finally freezing over. Its about time. lol
 
With the Humidity its Hell on Earth here haha. Isnt there some happy place with perfect weather for detailing? On and Jngrbrdman I see your now as smooth as the FUZZ! Congrats. Im not worthy

I don't even think I am worthy. :lol Just don't tell my wife. I work in an office that is probably 75% ladies and 50% of them are foxy. :naughty I don't know that she would appreciate knowing I was suddenly smooooooth with the ladies. lol
 
The clouds just lifted above the mountains and I can see the new snow up there. I was joking with my boss yesterday as it was raining and told him that at least its not snow. I don't think he was as lucky today... He lives up on the east side in the hills and the snow just barely melted in his yard. Now I'll bet its burried again...
 
Its bikini season down where I am. :naughty You couldn't drag me outta here for all the tea in China. You can have your snow. I'm going surfing. :headbang

I guess Utah no longer resides in the Northern Hemisphere where summer begins June 21, 2:46 A.M. EDT in the year 2005. So yeah, no one got the memo because it isn't out yet. :)
 
Yeah, but there is an unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day weekend. Ever since then its been raining and 40 degrees.
