Did CMA mess up??

Spilchy,

I agree with you. I ordered like 6 PC pads from them and they wanted over 18 dollars in shipping to ship items that weigh less than 8 ozs combined. UPS rates to PA are like 1.12 for that package. They just use shipping to boost their already incredible profit margins. I stopped shopping there. I use other online resources for the same items.

I ordered about $200.00 worth of products under one receipt at CMA with one tub of S100 and I got 1 free applicator pad.

Well, now that autogeek.net is a SPONSOR of Autopia, I urge you folks who haven't used them to check it out.

That's where I go. I've gotten freebies with every order - from samples of EO A2Z, Luster strips, EO tire shine, Pinnacle Liq. Souveran, Pinnacle Leather Conditioner to name just a few.

Check out their special values link and tell me you can find elsewhere, for example, Klasse AIO and SG for that price plus that ship rate.

I also received a foam applicator with my S100, from CMA. Could it be a manufacturer thing? Jes' wonderin'...;)

I find it amusing that now that they are a sponsor, their name is no longer blacklisted. I guess money talks :)

CMA threw in a free foam applicator and also a free 6" counterweight for the PC I ordered. This was on a $300 order. Their shipping was also quite reasonable as it was a canadian order so they charged me actual shipping.

They were blacklisted previously? Details? I'm a newbie here so I know nothing of this :)

Now that wasn't very nice... Could it be that we worked out out differences?

I don't know the details but I know if you typed autogeek.net it was replaced by ************
Even though I'm a mod, the details (AFAIK) of this mess aren't privy to me either. Recalling from when this was brought up months ago I believe it was Autogeek that requested they not be mentioned here at Autopia due to legal issues.... I know, it's wierd but that's what I remember.

No need to make jabs at the Mayor..... :nono

alsey did CMA ship to you by USPS? I can't remember what method they use for Canadian orders. Thanks.

I find amusing that some people so attracted to anything which is not simply black and white...

If they decided to pay a few bills... it just great...

To have and to run this kind of equipment itself is very expensive for a single person.

Could you please send me the list of other places you have found great service and better prices from regarding detail supplies. I am new to this forum, so let me know what I should do to receive it if anything at all.

Thanks, EJ

Oops sorry for the delay..

Yup, CMA shipped to my by USPS..IIRC the total shipping was around $40 which included a PC7424 (cheaper to buy everything together instead of seperately), a whole bunch of polishes..etc. It must have weight 15 pounds at least and was 1.5 feet tall X 1 feet wide X 2 feet long.

Incidentally it was almost cheaper to ship that than the $100 microfibertech.com order that fit in an envelope since they used UPS and I got a $40 brokerage fee..argh!
