Well I did my friend's del sol today in return for a steak dinner at Applebees.:p Here's what I used:

Meg Wash

Automagic clay w/ FI

white pad/DACP

white pad/#82

#26

Overall, it looks ok. Not the greatest job, but whatever. He just wanted it to look better so he can sell it. I was very pissed at the amount of time it took me. The whole process took me like 5 hours and it still didn't come out the way I wanted it to.

the taillights look strange - - like they're sandblasted or something. What happened to the car?

Looks like you should have received more than a steak dinner for the effort.:p

NYdetailer - Dude, that is sick.

tom p. - The taillights are like that because they were painted a while ago. Possibly the paint has lost its luster??? Thanks for the comment!!;)

andriver - thanks and yes, there are alot of parts missing. Even the bumper up front is off!!!:D :o

I was going to say the exact same thing Scott did lol

Man, you did what you could with that thing. It looks like its obviously been in an accident (no duh lol), you made it look like a car that had fairly good care taken of it and wound up in an accident vs a car that was obviously abused all its life.

I use Meguiars products almost exclusively. I sprayed with A2Z and hosed off. Then I scrubbed with a cotton chenille mitt and Meg. wash soap. The tires I used Meg #40, cleaner and conditioner. Wipe on, wipe off.
