DG 105 over Klasse AIO?

I saw a few things on my car last night I wasn't really happy with... VERY minor surface scratches that I think I missed when I went over it with the super finish.

I also dug up an old thread in which I had laid down 3 coats of Duragloss 105 onto my old Evo... it looked just fantastic AND with just detailing my Fiancee's MS3 and putting 3 coats on her car as well it really makes me want to strip off the FK1000, get those few minor swirls out with the Klasse AIO, but i'm not sure if the DG will go well over top of the KAIO...

anyone know or have experience with this combo by chance?

By the way, in case anyone isn't familiar with DG105... this is the finish I got with it on red

The hood, since I could take this one outside.

I like to ensure that any area where water might get to is protected so all around the door jams were sealed.

You can really see how glassy the look of this polish is. I really like it.

I haven't used Klasse and probably never will, but I personally don't see a problem with it. The cleaners in DG 105 are light at best so no worries of it removing the Klasse product. Why 3 layers? I applied 1 coat on our 2011 Regal in November and just started using DG Aqua Wax in March or April (can't remember) on a monthly basis. It was exposed to road salt through the winter and touchless car washes almost weekly until I come home to hand wash it. Are you familiar with DG 601? That is a bonding agent that will flash cure the DG 105 so that you can layer it without waiting 12 hours. I've been told you can layer right away but I prefer to wait 2 hours. Car looks amazing though! :)

I use KAIO before I apply any wax or sealant (makes a great paint cleaner).

Gotta love Duragloss products for the ease of use, protection, and low cost.

Honestly I applied a single coat on one side of my Fiancees car and 3 on the other. The one with 3 sheeted the water off a whole lot better... us the candied look is so much better as well.

Interesting. I may give this a try as I typically do 1 coat of DG 501 to chemically clean the paint also providing a layer of protection then 1 coat of DG 105.

definitely try it! I've done 5 coats... the look isn't a whole lot more glassy from the 3, but it's so durable and keeps the paint very clean, and easy to clean as well.

I would be *utterly astounded* if KAIO removed any marring for you. I find it functionally nonabrasive, at least when we're talking about "abrasive enough to remove visible flaws". IME KAIO is more likely to make existing marring more obvious than to do anything else, so I'd reach for a "real polish" instead.
