I'm too tired to post my thoughts tonight. My brain is fried (literally from this weekend's heat). :drool

Steve It was nothing you just saw the ""paramedic mode"" kick in.. I might not be at work but I just can help it. I would like to thank you for all your help your experiance is very vast and even thought we are all looking for the perfect shine you helped me learn that you can't always get what your looking for but damm you can make the car look really nice...Anyway while saterday was an off day for me today rocked and the ride home was great my nephew even told me I can use the T/A all week... But I really need to clean her from her rock moving days. Anyways after a nice meal tonight and a long cool shower i'm ready to go to bed and hope that it's a quiet night at work so i can get some sleep. who knows what i'll have to deal with tomorrow

Steve thanks for the kind words! I sometimes think I talk to much! I usually go in to this kind of event with an open mind trying to learn whatever it is that I can possibly learn! And despite the extream heat conditions I still came away taking my knowledge as a hobiest to the next level!

I think for one and its probably the most important thing to learn is to have patience to really "Work" a product! After seeing Pro Polish FULLY remove 3000 grit Wet sanding marks and actually doing it My self after a lesson from Sean! I think I am ready to try a rotary on my own! (Starting on my Old Mercury Sable of course)

Sean & Liz ... Sean what can I say you are a just a massive amount of insperation! You make the job of detailing look like its a piece of cake! (Not that any car there "Needed" to be detailed well except mine being that I refused to do that much work after killing myself last year) Thanks for the help with the Wing on the Mustang I really do appreciate it! And Im already planning to start my practicing next weekend on my other car! Liz....seeing you take hold of that rotary and buff out that test panel had me thinking and it wasn't untill now that I just figured it out! I think that you and Sean detail cars together and thats HOW he can get a detail done in 4 hrs or so! Actually being serious ... You handled that thing like a pro! I was quite impressed! More importantly thanks for the laughs you made the heat bareable !

Patirck all I want to say is IM SORRY ... When I heard you say that you were going to detail the Black TransAM I actually wanted to start crying for you! You had quite the job to do and you did an amazing job on it Hopefully next time we will get Cought at a Stop light next to one another and we can Show some people what AMERICAN MUSCLE is all about!

Marj... Thank you Thank you Thank you...after seeing all the work you put in last year and again this year I don't think anyone can thank you enough! Maybe next year you will let me take the Porche for a spin :)

I don't want to leave anyone out but there is SO MUCH to say everyone. One of the things that sticks out in my mind is as the day was winding down today everyone was exhausted ready to just pass out and we all teamed up to help Steve and Marj that just goes to show the appreciation everyone has for the event! We teamed up and before we knew it we wear all covered in sweat and had packed up everything!

Once again thanks to everyone for the massive amounts of knowlege! I look foward to next year (Steve Can we find a climate controled garage somewhere?) lol

Really big thanks to Steve and Marj for planning and providing such a great event :bow :bow .
This years detailing weekend was just as good as last year, if not hotter :hot I had a great time meeting some familiar faces from last year, and some new ones. Its really cool to be able to talk about detailing products with other people who understand where your coming from. My friend tagged along on his motorcycle and was totally :huh when I had a conversation with Freddie, I guess he should have looked at the acronyms before comming ;) .

Unfortunately I did not attend Sunday's event, had to help my father with some electrical work in the morning and at 12 I attended a graduation party. Only good part about the party was I got to go swimming and really cool down :naughty

Sorry for everyone who could not attend or doesn't live in the area, what can I say the tri-state area is the place to be...we got the ocean, the mountains, the city and Poorboy's World :bigups

Steve and Marj, thank you so very much for planning out the wonderful day. I woke up this morning ready to head to the dealership to continue detailing, but unfortunately I had to do a modded X5 instead :(, alone nonetheless. I wish we could do this every month, but it will only build up the suspense for next year. Can't wait!

It was a pleasure meeting everyone there. I'm glad I could share some of the things I've learned from more seasoned pros and pass down to car care enthusiasts. There is ALWAYS something you can take from someone else and I know I took a ton from the weekend.

I must say that it is truly nice going to an event where you have a general common interest, nobody judges you, nobody wants to steal your car or vandalize it, and at the end of the day you could walk away with a greater friend base.

Again, can't wait for next year. We have to fly in some other members though. We should get so many vehicles that the dealer will have to rearrange the lot :D. Nice meeting you all again and Happy Detailing :D.

Actually, the lot did have to be rearranged on Saturday morning. Some of us arrived very early to do set up work, and we wound up helping the dealership folks move cars around the lot. :shift

I think that would be a classic moment to have the lot filled with detailers! And to see everyone turn on thier PC or Rotary on at the same time ... and all the Circut Breakers would blow!

I think the biggest laugh was when some random person who was at the dealership came over to the Product table to find out "More Information" and asked me in passing "Is this stuff any good" I just got the biggest laugh at that statement and im sure a lot of us here would as well.

Thanks to Steve ,Marj and all who made the event possible.Once again we had a great time and to us its not a sales event , it is a chance to spend time with friends who enjoy the same things we do with the added bonus of having wonderfull products available to purchase. We weren't able to make the second day but we are planning on doing the full weekend next time.

Steve, Marj and Frank.

Thank You for all the hard work you put in to this event so we...(opened minded detailers) can experience what other products can do and I can say that your Pro Polish is :bigups some thing to brag about and the Nattys Blue leaves me speechless. :bow
