Detailing Survey!

Andrew C.- I found Q#5 to be ambiguously worded

Sorry Accumulator, I seem to have been getting that response a lot. Do you have any suggestions on how to word it better? This is what is currently there:

"5. Some vendors offers Free Shipping when you purchase $x.xx in goods. If you have less than $x.xx in your cart when done shopping, do you buy more to bump your total spending over $x.xx, or do you stick with what you have and pay for the shipping?"

When I finish my project, I'll go ahead and post up any correlations that I found with the survey results! :xyxthumbs

I think that's worded perfectly well, except the "offers" part should be "offer". Other than that I don't see any issues... made sense to me first time I read it. Then I re-read it and it made sense again :).

PS. Just completed survey

My answer to #5 would change depending on how close I was to amount which would give free shipping, I mean I'm not going to buy another $20 in product to save less than that in shipping.

I gotta say that I'll buy staples (e.g., shampoo) in quantity to get the best shipping price, adding another gallon or two to make the threshold. I figure I'll spend the money on that product eventually anyhow so I might as well save the shipping. Not like money that's just sitting in checking accounts earns anything.

Hey guys, here are the results so far. I've had 250 respondants to the survey, but

unfortunately I didn't realize something about survey monkey. It only gives you

the first 100 responses and you have to sign up for a paid account with survey

monkey to get all of the other responses. So I'm posting up the results from the

first 100.

Also, the free response questions are not organized in charts like these other

ones, but rather are just given in a list, so I'm not including them on here.

Here it is:

Andrew C.- Thanks for posting those results. Interesting that so many people are on so many forums!

Come to think of it, I was wondering whether "brink and mortar detailing stores" would include autopaint/body supply places
