Anyone planning on any major changes to their detailing routine as it gets warmer?

I plan to use my pressure washer more often. Initially it had been somewhat inconvenient (more stuff to get out and put up) but after using quick disconnects, learning how to wind the hose back up quickly, and getting some nice results with soaps/cleaner like Honey Dew and Avalanche I finally got beyond the hassle excuse.

I have not been using the Master Blaster as much as I had as the vehicles have been sheeting water so well but still nice on the crevices.

I also started using PB's Spray and Wipe more regularly as a drying aid and like the results even after using the Master Blaster to give it a sharp look.
 
I am not planning any major changes because I have not seen any new products to justify a major change, meaning I am happy with the 4 buffers that I have now. I am going to make a minor change and that is to use more 5 1/2" pads that I picked up over the winter. Up to now I have been using 7" and 4" pads most of the time.

I do like using the pressure washer on the lower pressure settings (not enough pressure to do any damage). I wash the car down, then I add a foam gun to the pressure washer to soap it up and then use my pad to wash the car. Gets a lot of loose dirt off prior to touching it => no swirls.

Where I really like the pressure washer is in the winter cleaning my Avalanche which has cladding. When its warm enough to use, its great to get the dirt and salt out along the edge of the cladding. Its also great to get all the dirt and salt out of the wheel wells.

I just wish the snow would go away so I can start using the car and have a reason to clean it.
 
I plan on quitting detailing and becoming one of those people who do not care what their car looks like. :surrender

But really I plan on getting into coatings, more ONR type and waterless washes. I really hate the soft paint on the Murano and every wash no matter how careful I am leaving swirls. It is frustrating as hell but I learned my lesson now on buying a black vehicle when not having a ton of time to dedicate to it. I keep putting it off but I'm sure I will get around to it in a couple of weeks.
 
Picked up a HVLP sprayer for wheel dressing and a gun to try for coatings. Added a LHR75 to my weapons so looking forward to the coming season. Now if this 5.5 inches of fresh snow would just go away. :-)
 
Trying to get used to using rinseless washes. I feel like I'm not convinced I'm not leaving a ton of residue on the car...
 
i am considering purchasing an electric pressure washer for summer duty but I am unsure because I really enjoy the easy of using the rinsless wash method, properly
