hey guys im going to detail my black g35 coupe this weekend

here are my steps and tell me what you guys think..





Wash using meg gold soap

clay with claymagic

Optimum Hyper Compound via PC

Menzerna Final Polish II via PC

Adams butter wax via PC

Nattys blue w/ hand







just doing exterior this weekend!! any feedback tell me plz!1 thanks guys
 
You might want to describe what kind of condition your car is in for others to critique your process. What does your paint look like? What looks are you trying to achieve? and what other products do you have on hand? If you have any specific question, feel free to ask. It definitely sounds like a good combo ,although I haven't tried Butter wax yet.

hey.. i have medium swirls... its black.. i also have a couple of scratches.. what do you think?



i have a PC.. light cutting pad, polishing pad, finishing pad.. what do you think i should use for each product
 
Maybe someone else that has used OHC can step in and say if it will breakdown enough with a PC. That would be my concern. If it does not breakdown enough, you might cause more defects. Then FPII might not have enough cut to get the defects out.
 
This thread says that OHC has less cut then PG, but more then IP. So it may work out just fine, but I'd rather have someone tell you that has used OHC with a PC on a G35.
 
I'm curious to know about this since I have a black G35 coupe and I recently acquired a PC with the Optimum polishes. I haven't worked on it yet since I'm trying to get more practice with it on my friend's cars first (they all have beaters and don't really care about the paint).
