Detailing License Plates !!

I got hit for that, as well. Now I use the clear covers in winter. Our tags are steel (I think years ago some idiot governor of ours figured that since OH was a steel producing state at the time our plates should be steel.), and I paint the backs of them with Rust Oleum or similar.

Here are my smoked covers. I love em!

Today after cleaning bugs from my wife's front tag today, I found the covers I used last winter and they were still in decent shape. So I put it on the front, and wanted to see if the frame would still fit though a different design of cover. It did, and the car looks alot better now.:)

I looked on Autogeek, and they have a pretty good selection of plate covers. I have a Weathertech from another place, but may someday order three more for replacing the non sealed covers on our cars.

I polish my license plate all the time, because the paint is single stage!
I clay them then use ColourX then M21 lol i want to see if photoradar car catch me at night lol
