Never had a problem myself.
My main detailing base is entirely in the shade with its own power & water supply and as I now have around 25 customers there it suits me just fine.
I'm seeing a contact tomorrow to discuss canopy design (plus he's got me working on his cars too) as we're going to look at having a weather proof portable type thing made up; I believe he has contacts in this area so I'll keep you posted if you want.
Sun friendly products have never gummed up on me so far - touch wood! Sealents like WG & EX/EX-P if applied by damp applicator seem to hate the sun but Carlack 68 is fine and I've experienced no issues with SG or carnuaba based LSP's either - if anything waxes seem to work better in warm sunshine.
And anyway, you're tempting fate by mentioning using products in warm weather - this is July in the UK mate!
