Detailing Frustration

New Normal
We have had a very wet spring and summer in Texas. Couple that with some serious cancer treatments during the same time and it has produced a very dirty and uncared for truck these last many months.

Yesterday, I made plans with my son to detail(or at least start a detail) on my pickup. The Little Detailer and I were going to spend the morning working on the truck and then go to a resturant to have something to eat.

The Little Detailer and I were disappointed to see that it was raining again this morning. Now all we had to do was to go eat. Had fun going to a resturant but we are both frustrated with the rain. I have a lot of empathy for professional detailers in the area. It is tough to detail a car outside when it is raining. Must be tougher to make a living with the weather that we have been enduring here in central Texas.

Oh well, the truck will make it to the next detail no matter when we do it. The little Deailer and I are just frustrated.:rain:
 
Sorry to hear about all the rain. We could use some here. At least you got to sit down and enjoy lunch together.
 
Bummer. Feel free to send some of that rain up this way if you don't want it. My lawn is brown, I gave up watering it. At least I don't have to mow much. Hope you and The Little Detailer get a few nice days to detail.

Actually Steve, you are right. I went over five months without chewing anything. Using a food tube is not my idea of a fun time. I still am a few months away from steaks but ground up meat seems to go down real well. I have gained eight pounds since I started eating my own cooking.
 
Fully sympathize with ya on the rain. It is frustrating. I have tried to keep the interior detailed since the exterior is tough due to weather. One thing is that the temperatures have been cooler yet the humidity can be tough.

After what you have been through I am suprised the truck even matters you must be feeling better.As Poorboy said Enjoy the time with your son the other sun will show its face again I'm sure. :)
