detailing door shuts

ONR or Meg's UQD, and somtimes citrus degreaser with a BHB to clean. Any AIO to shine and protect. Hitemp Bumper and Molding Renewer on the seals.

Depends on how bad but usually PB S&W wipedown and if needed some Megs safe-D with a swissvax brush to get the dirt out.

Nasty nasty nasty is APC or megs super degreaser, jambs rinsed but the shut part is wiped then gone over again with a water dampened towel.

Depending on what the customer wants, maybe a AW or OCW or if they want I will oblige with a paste wax or a sealant.

Maintenance is usually cleaned with ONR QD or LT.

Some degreaser and a towel, i sometimes spray them with the hose, if you keep the right angle almost no water gets inside.

I usually wash 'em with a small BHB and rinse by rinsing the car with the doors not quite fully closed.

For prep, I'll do the initial prep on used cars with solvents, then I polish by hand and apply LSP. The polising smooths the paint and makes for less dirt retention in the future.

I'd love to try the Tornador, any chance of that price dropping at all?

As far as I know my cost will be the same. Maybe if we had enough interest we could do a group buy? I can bring it up on my forums instead of whoring it here. LOL

My process is pretty standard. I usually just go with a little household cleaner like Mr. clean in a 2 gallon bucket of hot water since I don't have an APC. Wash a section with an older but clean MF and rinse and move on. Once it is dry, I protect with OCW or AW. Plastic molding gets Opt. Protectant.

I spray liberally with cleaner. Agitage a little. Then take off my hsoe nozzle and with low flow of water stick the hose inside and rinse.

You could use a chemical buig sprayer mized with water, it sounds like it should do the trick.

I spray the inside door edges and door jambs with Zep Citrus cleaner, use an soft paintbrush ( with the metal edges taped for safety) and rinse using my garden hose nozzle set on the mist setting and use an older absorber chamois to dry.

Finishing is done with a QD and a layer of whatever lsp I'm using on the vehicle.

I spray it with my pressure washer. If it's really bad I will go over it with my steamer.

It's nice to have all the fun tools. :)
