Detailing Disaster! Black Range Rover/Reflections Ruined!

I'm not sure if I'm just nitpicking, or overreacting but I really think the 2-step correction that was performed at a nearby local detailer seems to look a little...

Fuzzy? I only realized it when it was out in the sun (cloudy)

I have half a mind to DIY but unfortunately, afraid I might make it worse.

Suggestions gentlemen? Is it orange peel? Unfinished detailing?

Not sure what you're talking about other than the orange peel that I can see. The Orange peel is causing that texture and waved reflections.

Is it all factory paint or has that rear gate been repainted?

Orange peel can be removed but that's a bigger job than a simple 2 step polish...

p.s. looks like the detailer did a nice job :)

Like the previous posters said, factory RR paint has a good amount of orange peel which accounts for the distortion in the reflection that you're seeing. You're probably noticing the orange peel more now that the car is clean and polished/shined. If there's hazing and/or buffer trails visible in direct sunlight then you know the detailer did something wrong

Can't tell from these pictures, but unless you plan on spending several thousand dollars to reduce this orange peel, I would learn to live with it.
