scuffed and damaged paint work on the new Mercedez E class.....the owner want to send it to Mercedes to get it repaint immediately

I sigh....please slow down......take a deep breath and come.....90% of survivor chance is always the head matter and 10% the circustances & opportunity

over all pic

this car was opticoated couple months ago, the owner has been very careful not to send it any where or any how to be wash or polish

IMG_4226.JPG

Action

a quick swift of cooling down the ride before washing is always good habit to prevent premature Clear coat failure.....just as mum always says cool down, wipe off your sweat before bath

a quick ANRW wash with 6 MF

POPPING up the hood to let it cool off further before surgery

upon opening the hood , we saw some issue need to be rectify

IMG_4227.JPG

cleaning the patience before the surgery begans

IMG_4231.JPG

Holy cow! So it didn't go all the way through the clear? The 2microns of OC were enough to keep it from striking all the way through the clear? Great Job!!!

Dear kc's

Fingernails caused those scratches? Looks like a horrendous hissy fit.

You were a paint superhero on this car.

Thanks gentleman for all yr kind words and cheers along the way

The process was long for such a small area

We did a cc gauge as mentioned to determine to deep and far we can go
Start with
Flex polish ohp - nay

Stepping up to
Rotary on optimum Mf cutting pad ohc

Another stepping up
Rotary on cutting foam on 101

Cool down on each done section as preventing overheat that cos cc prematurely fail

Used lots of qd with onr ti cool down
In our tropics weather

After quite a few passes and and back down with flex optimum Mf
With ohc

Finish with ohp optimum foam

Onr wash

Ipa

Opti coat

Sorry to kept all of you guessing!!! What happen ?? Any guess

Looks like an animal tried to climb up/on
Nice fix :bigups
