Detailers Paradise Prima Swirl

I used this product for the first time today and I am totally amazed by it. I was looking for a one step polish that would level out some swirls on neglected black paint and I grabbed this product.

I used it with a Lake Country 7.5in white pad and my rotary, the results blew my mind. Vehicle was a black 03 Lexus and was never polished. The car lives full time under a tree and after claying went to polishing. 1500 rpm was the speed I used and it left the paint lsp ready. I ended up wiping the car down with a 50/50 alcohol water mix and sealed with Zaino Z5 and I was done. I really look forward to trying this polish again and I recommend to give it shot. I should have pics of the Lexus by tomorrow night to post. :bigups

Nick at Detalers Paradise has a Great store, I really like the Prima stuff, I have tried most of their products and am pleased with most of them. I really like the Epic, the Slick and Hydro are also Great!!

I will be going there next week to grab some more Monster Fluffies..their on sale.. :xyxthumbs

Pardon,

I have Epic, Amigo, and Hydro. But, I have yet to try them over the long haul. I would appreciate your input about any of them, especially Epic. How does it look? Durability (thinking about winter application)? Thanks.

Hi,

I have yet to test them over the long haul as well, just applied it about 2 weeks ago. I applied 2 coats by hand of the Epic waiting 1 day between coats. It was Very glossy and wet looking and Very slick, after the 2nd coat cured the surface of the paint was Soo Slick my MF was just sliding over the surface..

I haven't tried the Amigo yet, as I used Optimum compound and CG Final polish as my prep. The Hydro, to me seems to have qualities of FK425 and AW, with the edge in slickness going to 425..

It has gone through 2 washings and 2 snow storms so far and still beads and looks Fantastic, I hope it holds up well as this will be my winter treatment...

So far, I give it :2thumbs:
