Detailer's Domain has PO85RD!

I spoke to Phil today and he got his shipment earlier this morning. Last time I checked he had 143x bottles left.



Let's talk about a fantastic customer experience though. He is very responsive by email and doesn't mind taking the time to answer all your questions.



When I placed my order today, I got a personal email from Phil with the tracking information and everything. Order to shipping was less than 2 hours!



A+ experience, I'll be shopping there again in the future...

Its a great finishing polish..very light cut..but brings the finish to a mirror ....has a cut of 1.5 out of a 5..but a gloss of 5...you will be happy....

Pennypacker..the 106FF will finish down the same..just 106FF has a bit more cut and does corrections ...I use the PO85RD just to try to get the extra inch of gloss...but doing so ..side by side they look the same....106 is more versatile..it can do nice corrections and finish out like a mirror...

Since I am just starting out with this (well, compared to everyone else here!) I was thinking of correcting the paint with some SSR1 and then finishing up with PO85RD. Should come out looking real nice.



Excited to try this since I've been reading so much about it.



What sold me on it? G35Stilez detailing the black Corvette with PO85RD and the CCS white pad. Unbelievable outcome...
 
By the way, which CCS pad is everyone using? I'm confused between the green and the white one if using PO85RD.
 
It appears Menzerna rate both on a gloss level of 5, just 106FF is made for ceramic clear and has more cut due to that factor. We all know now that you can use 106FF on any type of paint. At least I havent found any ill effects doing so. Im a menzerna fan but I feel PO85RD is not necessary when one has 106FF already.
 
Phil also has the PO85RD3.01 Intensive Polish. I ordered two quarts of PO85RD from him in March when he had some and he was great to deal with. Great service/shipping and he took his time to answer all my questions.
 
phil's a nice guy that will take the time to talk to you. i've liked him ever since i spoke to him a few months ago!
 
This may need a separate thread, so I apologize in advance. It seems Porsche has soft paint (from what I have been reading). I would like to start detailing my car (for the first time) in the next few weeks with a PC. I have mild to overly mild swirl marks and some marring but no deep scratches. Would this product be enough? I saw Grouse used it with the blue edge pad (which I do have) on an '85 and it looks fantastic. Do I need to use to use something else after I use this (i.e.: FPII?).

no u can finish with this polish no need to use fp2. 85 actually finishes off nicer than fp2. 106ff has a bit more cut and finishes off the same. 85 should be fine for what your are talking about but every car is different.

Thank you! I was planning on using IP and then FPII, but it looks as though I could use the 85 and skip the other two? Should I use the 3.01 or the 3.02? Also, I have Zymol Glasur as an LSP. I was thinking of using HD Cleanse and then the Glasur. Does this sound reasonable?

Ip is much more aggressive then 85, ip usually can not finish off LSP ready so u will need to finish with 85. U can get IP and mix 30% clearkote machine glaze to help with dusting. 3.01 is alos very agressive it all comes down to what kind if imprefection u have to deal with.



Glazur is very nice i would deff use hd cleanse then after application wait 3hrs and apply zymol field glaze i KNOW u will be very happy with the look.
