Detailer for New Car Prep in Los Angeles

Hi everyone,



I've been a looooong time member of the forum (under a different name), but have been away for a while. I'm looking for a detailer in LA (Santa Monica / West L.A. preferably) to do a new car prep for me on my new 2013 Audi A5 (Monsoon Grey). It's about three weeks old w/ only one wash so marring should be minimal on the hard Audi clear. Specifically, I'd like it to be prepped (with as minimal correction as necessary) and then Opti-coated.



Any recommendations on detailers? I'm really discerning on personnel (and know that comes with a price) but I'm looking for a solid member, with pics on here preferably, who knows what they are doing to handle my new baby.

Hey man hows it going. I don't live in Cali (im in Az) but too am a long time Autopia Member (feel free to search for my write ups). I can't help you out directly but, have a friend who does detailing out in Cali...his work is legit and i'll vouch for him. He's about 1.5-2 hours out of your area, but is mobile and will travel just as long as you have a garage for him to work in.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. Unfortunately, this is probably not the ideal scenario as I am in an apartment with a shared underground garage that would likely make detailing quite the pain (no water access really, other cars in close proximity, no real source of electricity, and just general respect for neighbors who need to use a shared space). Ideally, I'd prefer to bring it to local shop. Thank you for your recommendation though!

Hey guys, I posted the thread below, but still haven't found someone convenient to West LA. I have a Mercedes G Wagon that needs a correction. Black paint with swirls and scratches (none too deep) that has been used off road. I'm looking to get the paint right and do some leatherique on the interior.


 


Any guidance much appreciated! I do not have a garage, so would appreciate someone with the proper lighting, paint meter, etc.
