First up, Acura TL. My FAVORITE color combo on this vehicle :). It wasn't supposed to be a full swirl removal but I ended up taking out about 90% of them with the new FK1 polish. The Trade Secret really brought out the flake...EXCELLENT combo here.

-NXT Wash

-Tarminator throughout (clay was not paid for)

-FK1 185 via rotary and LC Finishing pad at 1700-1800 rpm (as per instructions)

-Trade Secret by hand

-AIO on rims/calipers

-BnB on tires

Next up, the Wrangler.

Belongs to a new owner and wanted to have it started off on the right foot :). The paint was in pretty nice condition as was the interior (no shots). The exterior receieved:

-NXT Wash

-PB Clay

-Rims and painted wells cleaned with acid, tires and plastic wells cleaned with APC 3:1

-Wells dressed with Hyper Dressing 3:1, tires with BnB

-Optimum Polish via rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1500 rpm

-Zaino Z2 by hand (client request)

-GR-40 Cleaner on trim

-PB Trim Restorer on trim to follow

Could you tell us more about this product? This isn't the wax mentioned often here is it?

Next up, the S10 Show Truck. Brother's to the Wrangler.

Vehicle is garaged but pretty heavy swirling in areas. Interior was a very quick job, so the exterior recieved:

-NXT Wash

-PB Clay with NXT Wash as lube

-Optimum Polish via rotary and LC Cutting Pad @ 1700 rpm

-Optimum Polish via rotary and LC Finishing Pad @ 1500 rpm

-Zaino Z2 by hand (client request)

-Rims have Z2 x 3 on them now (detailed them about a month ago)

-BnB on tires

-HD in wells (3:1)

Sorry for the lack of sunny afters. I finished at just shy of 9pm. I used the client's (absoluteCAIN) tripod and tweaked my settings. He's a photographer, so I should have some solid pics pretty soon :). Thanks for dinner again Tom!

Last up, the X5. Alan is an Autopian here, but I forget his username, so Alan, please chime in :). This X5 is outfitted with a custom stereo (all SQ), Dinan exhaust, and HRE rims. Great looking truck IMO. The paint had some wash induced marring throughout and some tar on the interior. Regardless, Alan is a true Autopian!

Interior:

-Folex pretreat, APC 10:1 to scrub, vacuum out

-APC 10:1 to clean spot areas

-303 on all but leather

-AIO on woodgrain

-Poorboy's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner on seating(not on the market yet!)

-OCW in jams after degreased

They ran a sample special when they introduced it about a month back. I have tried it twice and like it very much. One thing, you have to move panel to panel, otherwise it's a bear to get off.

Wow, thanks for the label shot! :up

Whoa! This is the first time I'm ever seeing a LSP recommended by rotary at such RPMs :nervous:. I would've thought closer to 1000 :nixweiss

I'd say its more like a #20 or AIO not a true LSP in the way we think of them here. It has a lot of cleaners and lubricators. In direct sun, NO buffer trails when used as per instructions. Also, I noticed NO oil separation so I really don't think the problems were filled. You know with products like #66 and VM, they have some oils in them and they separate, this had none.

That S-10 looks wicked! Z2 Pro is my absolute favorite on black. Its so amazingly wet and deep. If you havent already, try some Z8 on the S-10. It looks amazing now but I gaurantee you'll have to clean your shorts after you see it with Z8.

damn tom...your paint was swirled up pretty bad...

drag it!! I'll throw some of my z8 on there for you at the mini bash.

Terrific work as always, Sean. Thanks for sharing your products and process with us, gives us a clue as to what works well together.

BTW, this thread took me only 7 seconds to download. :up

I do the same. So many really quality detailers on this board and we can all learn from each other.

As always excellent !!! I am not a big fan of cars being lowered that much, but can appreciate it more with the black finish being properly buffed and clean wheels to boot !!!

Great work as always Sean :2thumbs: - I'm going to have to put in a big order for some new products soon, especially now my rotary has arrived :woohoo:
