thanks again everyone, and a special thanks to bretfraz and BradE for all their help and assistance with getting me started on the rotary. I did the whole bimmer with the rotary, no burns! :)

To the people with the questions about the lexus. The transmission was the biggest pos ever, it made me hate the car.

I changed the trans fluid at 20k to mobil 1 full synthetic gear oil. It made the shifting incredible smooth and slick for about 5k miles, then went downhill again. Shifting was very clunky through the gears, clutch feel was awful.... could never get smooth engagment. The transmission made a bird like chirping noise when cold and idling. Also when the car was cold and trying to accelerate briskly the car would shudder lilke crazy, not a fun experience. Overall the car was ok, no major rattles even after driving in boston all the time, but the transmission problem just made it horrible to drive. The dealership kept telling me it was fine etc, so i just decided to sell it and get the car i wanted in the first place. I love this car :xyxthumbs

Wow! Nice BMW. I love Zaino. I just started using it myself on my S500.

Here are a few pics after doing the Z5, Z6, Z2.

Let me get this straight. Your complaining about the trans when you changed the fluid to a non-Lexus used fluid? You can't be serious.

Then you have the nerve to "beat" the car. Yes, I do feel sorry for the next owner.

No - he was complaining about the transmission before he swithced to M1 synth, which made it better for about 5K miles then back to the original issues...as the owner of an Acura TL-S I KNOW what it's like to have a tranny that blows chunks and the company pretend there is no issue.

Whatever. I can see if you were keeping the car forever. You beat the car up on purpose just because you knew you were going to get rid of it. Now the poor guy who buys "your" car could possibly face a number of problems due to your lack of maturity. Now he is going to blame Lexus for "his" car being crappy. Way to go. :up /:rolleyes:

I have said what needed to be said. I can see why I will NEVER, EVER purchuse a used car again.

FWIW, the BMW does look good.

Car looks GREAT! ...Best of luck with it. I love the titanium Headlight trim. For those asking.....it costs about 75 bucks, but install it yourself, it only takes about an hour, my dealer wanted like 4 hours labor charge to do it....CROOKS!!!

Now, don't forget to zaino those windows....and when are the clears coming?!?!?!

Car looks great! I love that blue! I am in the midst of closing a deal on a 2004 330i M Sport in Mystic Blue, and can't wait to get it home and go at it like you did yours!

You car looks amazing!

Just for info on gear oils, use redline in all your manual trannys(works great in my 02 honda 5 spd). Otherwise, stick with the stock fluid.

Yes the poor soul who buys that car, I am sure that whatever i did to the vehicle did not damage any components, and if it did, hey there is still 2 years of warranty left on it.

Thanks everyone for the comments on the car! It is getting some work done on it as we speak.
