Detailed the Benz today

O RLY?
Washed and put a coat of Natty's on the MB today. Current combo is Poorboy's Pro Polish, EX-P, Natty's x 2. The metallic really pops now and it's super wet and slick.

I cant wait to try out some Natty's! :) Your MB is the same color as my dad's TL. I love it because its low maint color like silver.

Thanks guys. My dad bought this car used in Oct. 2002. It's a 2000 model. It had been washed weekly by me with interior vacuum, the norm, basically what Autopian detailers would charge for a $35 wash and interior clean up job. The paint was in nice condition, but it had never been waxed to our knowledge until I started with the PB products. There were absolutely NO paint defects (swirls, marring, etc.) with the exception of a few rock chips like the one you can see in the second pic. I probably should have clayed it, but that's a problem considering I don't own one. :)

Scottwax: The tires and plastic trim on the wheelwells are dressed with DuPont's Teflon Tire Shine. It's not the best stuff, and it doesn't last too long on the Benz, but I did the tires on our Tahoe with it x 2 on Saturday and they still look like I just put it on. It came with rebates when I bought 2 bottles of it at PepBoys, so I don't feel ripped considering I ended up getting both bottles for free.
